Introduction
Established in 2010, Phillip Riley became the first recruitment firm focused exclusively on the Renewable Energy sector in Australia and the Americas. Since our first placement, Phillip Riley has built a solid network across all the influential industry associations in America’s Renewables sector, which we proudly maintain today.
The Phillip Riley team operates out of offices in Houston, TX (US H/Q), Australia and New Zealand, partnering with a broad range of clients across Australia and the Americas.
Our senior management team has a combined recruitment experience of over 65 years, and 20 years within the Renewables sector.
We work closely with companies that sit across the entire lifecycle of Renewable Energy & Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects.
We provide a resourcing service across the development, design, construction and operations phases of renewable energy projects across Texas, partnering with a broad range of clients.

Whereby Phillip Riley are exclusively engaged for recruitment on a specific position / positions, typically as permanent or direct hire employees.
Retained Search
- Typically for senior management, execution appointments of highly specialised positions
- Detailed brief and consultation on position and ideal candidate(s) profile with Hiring Manager, HR and any other relevant internal stakeholders
- Research-based market mapping with our Talent Research team covering target competitors and skill sets (international search if appropriate)
- Long list presented with detailed candidate reports and objective feedback on ‘fit’ for the
position and final consultation to agree on short list to interview
Payroll & Contract Talent Sourcing
- Project Specific – whereby Phillip Riley recruits and payrolls any number of white and blue collar (project specific) resources for delivery of a project / projects via an outsourced payroll solution over a fixed term or rolling contract
- Labour Hire – whereby Phillip Riley recruits and payrolls temporary staff for periods of high workload and employs them directly on our payroll and contract them out; e.g. major bids, commissioning phase, securing major projects, transitioning from construction to operations
